"Lucky One" vs "Safe One": Which One are You?

Imagine this... you go to the hospital for a simple/regular procedure, that you are put under anesthesia for, and you spend a little time in the recovery room afterword before you are released to go home. You go home and begin your recovery, dreading that intense rehab that is to come. Over the course of a the next day, you begin to have an itch in your nose that you just can't scratch enough. That itch becomes pain and you begin to feel ill. You brush it off as allergies or a cold you may have caught while in the waiting room at the hospital. The next day, you feel like your nose is on fire and you start to feel as though that "cold" may be the flu because you are cold, you have a fever and you have a TERRIBLE headache. Taking flu medicine isn't even touching it. As you stand in the bathroom after taking your medicine, you look at yourself in the mirror and see the color has left your face. You do, however, notice a large red bump on your nose that looks like a large pimple. The next day you are forced, by your spouse, to go to the ER because you are having chest pains and shortness of breath. Are you having a heart attack? The doctor finally comes back to see you and after a short time states that you have an infection on your nose that has started to spread into your sinuses and they need to do an emergency surgery to remove the dead tissue and clean out the infection before it reaches your brain. When all is said and done, you end of loosing your nose and a portion of your cheek. Now, imagine that through all of that... you are the LUCKY ONE!

Everyday, all over the country, people go to a healthcare facility (Hospital, Dentist, Urgent Care, etc...) for a simple ailment or procedure and end up contracting a Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI). According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), each year 1.7 Million people are infected with HAI's during their stay at a healthcare establishment. Sadly, out of those 1.7 Million "lucky ones", 99,000 people die from those infections. 99,000 people each year! 99,000 Mothers, Daughter, Fathers, Sons, friends and strangers... DEAD. Remember... infections that had ZERO to do with their being at the hospital in the first place. The next time you are in the waiting room at the ER, look around... Count out 20 people, including yourself. According to statistics from the Journal from Emerging Infectious Disease, one of the 20 of you will acquire some form of an HAI during your time there. That can be scary enough if you are young and single, but imagine that you are in the ER at the hospital with your child after they broke their finger. Do you want to risk that THEY will be the "Lucky One"... or would you want them to be the "Safe One"?

They CAN be the safe one, and so can you! The reason the hospitals are having an issue with HAI's (MRSA, C-Diff, VRE, CRE, CAUTI, etc...) is that they are using solutions to clean and sanitize the highest risk areas that simply don't work. Our company, Viking Pure, has developed a one-of-a-kind, patented, solution to these vary issues. The Viking Pure Family of Electrolyzed Water Systems give you the ability to produce the end all, game changing products that takes those numbers (1.7 million infected and 99,000 dead) down as close to ZERO as possible. Hypochlorous Acid produced by Viking Pure Electrolyzed Water Systems has been proven, time and time again, to kill, eliminate and exterminate every pathogen we have thrown at it in SECONDS (NOT Minutes like the products they are currently using). We kill MRSA, C-Diff, Listeria, E-Coli, Salmonella, Norovirus, Influenza, HIV and many others in an average of 10 seconds.

Do you want to be just a statistic under the "Lucky Ones" column, or do you truly want to be a "Safe One"? With us... you will be the "Safe One"!

"Antibacterial"... Could it be "Anti-Safe"?

"Antibacterial"... everywhere you look, these days, you are surrounded by "Antibacterial" soaps, mouthwashes, toothpastes and even some TOILET PAPER!? We have been trained to only look for these products as we are told they are the only way to stay safe. Did you know, those vary products could be actually causing you more harm than good? They are.

The main chemical or "Active Ingredient" in a majority of these products is called "Triclosan". This is some scary stuff. The FDA has been investigating this chemical for years and has recently released their findings on it (FDA Closer Look, 2013). In this article, they discuss how there is "currently is no evidence that over-the-counter (OTC) antibacterial soap products are any more effective at preventing illness than washing with plain soap and water". That statement is astonishing! What is even scarier is that they go on to say "New data suggest that the risks associated with long-term, daily use of antibacterial soaps may outweigh the benefits. There are indications that certain ingredients in these soaps may contribute to bacterial resistance to antibiotics, and may have unanticipated hormonal effects that are of concern to FDA". It not only doesn't work, but it also effects hormones and may lead to resistance to antibiotics. This is particularly disturbing when you consider how many women of child bearing age who are nurses constantly using "Antibacterial" products. Also, think about how many children, teenagers and young adults use these products everyday as they start puberty and continue to grow into adults. What kind of effect will this chemical have on them later in life.

What product can be safe to use, has been around long enough to test and has proven to kill the pathogens that you are trying to stay away from? Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) produced by the family of Viking Pure Electrolyzed Water Systems. How safe, you ask... so safe that your body is producing it RIGHT NOW. Our white blood cells produce Hypochlorous Acid to defend against pathogens inside our bodies. This happens within everybody and thus Hypochlorous Acid is 100% NON-Toxic to humans and animals. Unlike Triclosan, Hypochlorous Acid has been proven to eliminate every pathogen it has been tested against... in seconds. Those pathogens include; Norovirus, E-Coli, Salmonella, Influenza, Listeria, MRSA, C-Diff, HIV, Enterovirus and many others. Man made Hypochlorous Acid has been around since the late 1800's and has been studied by every major regulatory organization. After a century of testing, and approvals by the EPA, FDA, CDC, USDA and other various foreign agencies, there have been ZERO negative effects found.

I'm Sure Your Mother Told You

"If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.”  It’s the same cautionary tale my Mother told me and it’s the obstacle we at Viking Pure face every day.  Let me test my premise.  If I told you that for mere pennies a gallon, you could produce a sanitizing solution that kills dangerous and deadly viruses (MERS, MRSA, Listeria, E-Coli, Salmonella, AIDS, Ebola to name a few) in a completely safe, non-toxic way you’d think I was nuts, Right? I am not nuts and it is true.

The general concept is as simple as the science you did in high school, but our PATENT allows us to take it to levels it has never been before. It’s technology that has been around since the 1800’s.  It is a fact that you can take salt, water and electricity to make a solution called hypochlorous acid (HOCl).  Despite its ominous sounding name it is completely safe for people, pets, plants and the environment.  It is 30 times more effective at sanitizing than chlorine bleach but it is totally non-toxic. You don't need any special equipment; i.e. gloves, masks, goggles or rubber suits, as it will not harm you if it comes into contact with your skin or splashes in your eyes. No toxic fumes.

Buying TOXIC chemicals to clean and sanitize doesn't make sense when we have the technology to make your home, schools, hospitals, airports, cruise ships - anywhere the public congregates - safer WITHOUT the use of dangerous chemicals.  Our patented technology has brought Electrolyzed Water into the 21st century by removing the obstacles that kept it from being so widely adopted early on. Other  Systems have salt in the final solution that leaves behind a salty film/residue that can be very corrosive. Ours is 100% SALT-FREE.

NO SALT=
  • NO Salty Residue/Film
  • NO Corrosion
  • and most importantly... NO WORRIES

Our systems provide our users with a High Quality (American Made), Affordable and 100% SAFE alternative to Costly and Dangerous TOXIC Chemicals.  VIKING PURE: Save Your Green and Smell the Clean!

Are you a Label Reader?

Most of us don’t bother reading the labels.  We make assumptions about how things work.  I’m guilty.  The problem is that what you don’t know can hurt you.  For instance, for many years I used my can of Lysol.  I loved it.   It smelled good and it made me feel that I was protecting my family. It states right on the front label in big bold print declaring that it kills 99.9% of germs.  I would spray and wipe those germs away.  Or was I?   Sadly, you may be doing more harm than good.  If you read the label, the instructions state to wet the surface completely and keep it wet for 10 minutes.  I never did that.  Do you?  I realized that all I was doing was spreading bacteria.  What’s worse is the labeling of 99.9% germ killing is a bit misleading, if not a down right, down low dirty lie.

Until recently I never questioned the 99.9%.  I assumed that these results were from scientific experiments run by independent labs.  Not necessarily the case according to an article I read from the Wall Street Journal.  In fact, the test results include only 'select' germs and the "tester" can select which ones and how many to include in the test.  Furthermore, they can run the tests and if they don't like the results, they can disregard the undesirable information and 'redo' the test until they get the results they desire.  Finally, they do saturate and wait 10 minutes as the label states.  So I ask you, how confident are you that you are killing 99.9%?

How about an alternative?  How about a sanitizing solution that kills in seconds, not minutes?  One that is deadly to bacteria and virus but totally safe for people, pets, and the planet.  Don't just spread the germs around, kill them without using toxic chemicals.  The alternative is Viking Pure Sanitizer (HOCI).  Our test results are from independent labs and our results are on our web site.
